Message from the Kaohsiung County Magistrate - Discover the county's new image
In recent years, urban and rural restoration projects and a cultural renaissance have injected a new vitality into our society. Taiwan has undergone a major facelift. Since taking office as county Magistrate, I have devoted my effort to transform Kaohsiung County into a vibrant and prosperous new hometown.
Kaohisung county is rich in natural resources. A thorough plan has been carried out to transform Kaohsiung County into a world-class cultural tourism destination.
With the cooperation of the county Government staff and residents, we are making considerable advances in industrial development, environmental protection,community building and cultural tourism. Many Kaohsiung citizens who returned after spending a few years away have invariably expressed amazement and pride with the rapid modernization of the county.

What we hope to achieve is to give fellow residents a reason to be proud about thier beautiful county. If we take time to slowly relish out homeland,Kaohsiung county. we will realize that it has really transformed! |
